UMLAMLI HOSPITAL

Umlamli Hospital is a 74 bedded chronic hospital situated in a deep rural area in Sterkspruit magisterial area of Senqu L.S.A. The hospital is about +- 12 km from Sterkfontein (town) on a gravel road on your way to Majubanek Location. It lies at the foot of Unatiki mountain.

Hereunder follows a list of the types of students who can be exposed at this hospital:

1. Medical - from 3rd year onwards.
2. Allied:
   a) Physiotherapy
   b) Occupational therapy
   c) Radiography
   From 2nd year onwards.
3. Dental:
   a) BDS - from 4th year onwards
   b) Dental therapy - from 2nd year onwards
   (Students from this group 3 will require special arrangements with your faculty on activities to be done.)
