- “The international journal Rural and Remote Health, the African section of which is endorsed by RuDASA, has been accepted for an International Scientific Index (ISI) listing. - The World Health Organisation has published recommendations on the recruitment and retention of health workers in rural and remote areas. Two RuDASA committee members were part of the international expert panel that drafted these. The guidelines were launched in South Africa in September at a function co-hosted by the Wits Centre for Rural Health.
