CIPLA - MEDPRO/SA HIV Clinicians Society Bursaries

The above bursaries are available to doctors, working in the field of HIV in rural areas, to attend the 3rd South African AIDS Conference to be held in Durban on 5 - 8 June 2007

The bursary will cover the conference registration fee and each successful applicant will receive the sum of R2000.00 upon proven attendance at the conference.

Please note the Society cannot arrange, or pay for transport and accommodation – this will be the responsibility of the individual.

Applicants for the bursaries should submit the following to the Society’s offices, no later than 16th April 2007.

• A brief outline of  involvement in the field of HIV in a rural area
• A letter of support from applicant’s manager/superior
• An abstract  supporting the application
• A letter detailing intent to feed back  information gained at the conference
