PROGRAMME INFORMATION

Apart from covering clinical aspects around HIV care in rural areas (ARV's and TB-HIV) the program will evolve around developing strategies for rural health:

• Recruitment and retention of health workers
• Creating rural training complexes
• A dummy's guide to dealing with CHAOS in the hospital
• Developing a support network for rural health workers

Delegates are advised to submit abstracts for free papers and posters for the National Family Practitioners Congress, which takes place in Mthatha from 5 to 7 August 2005, in collaboration with RuDASA - to e-mail: info@nfpc.co.za
