GENERAL INFORMATION

The 2005 RuDASA Conference will be held at the remotest backpackers lodge on the Transkei Wild Coast. Rural Doctors will go anywhere to meet each other! Delegates must arrive on the 7th August and the conference will take place on the 8th August. There is a public holiday on the 9th August for those who would like to stay a bit longer to enjoy the scenery.

This year's conference will take the form of a one day post-conference meeting, following the National Family Practitioners Conference in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, in which RuDASA is participating and during which the AGM will be held. (Go to http://www.nfpc.co.za/ for more information.) The RuDASA meeting will be in the format of a series of workshops on key issues related to rural health and practice. (The usual clinical sessions which are a feature of RuDASA conferences will take place during the Family Practitioners Conference.)

Conference Registration Fee:
Members - R 250.00 (R300 after 10 July)
Non-members - R 360.00 (R410 after 10 July)

The conference fee includes supper on Sunday and Monday, teas and lunch on Monday (breakfasts to be paid for at Bulungula).
